When we opened Old Pike Cottages in June 2020, the world was navigating uncertainty and togetherness looked very different. We didn’t get the chance for a grand opening or a ribbon cutting—but five years later, we finally got to celebrate. And we did it in true Old Pike fashion: with gratitude, community, and a whole lot of heart.
Located just steps from downtown Saugatuck and the Kalamazoo River-
Old Pike Cottages is a collection of thoughtfully restored and newly built cottages designed to offer guests a relaxed, artful stay in the heart of Michigan’s Art Coast. What began as a vision from a local couple has grown into a vibrant space for memory-making—thanks to the hard work and dedication of our architects, contractors, subcontractors, and especially our team (some of whom have been with us since we opened).
We’re so thankful to everyone who joined us for this milestone celebration—and to all of you who have supported us along the way. Whether you’ve stayed with us once or return every season, you're a part of what makes Old Pike so special.
